The Work Progress Administration, or WPA, was a government agency set up during the Great Depression whose sole purpose was to employ people. Among the most notable things they did (some might argue the only notable thing) was the really great Art Deco work on Hoover Dam. Here I imagine what they might have done with a bridge.
This is my favorite piece no one likes. I guess I'm just a sucker for Art Deco.
