About this Image: Bryce 4.0, Poser 4.0 and Photoshop 4.0. This image had it's origin in a few places. First, Rosemary Regan who won the 1 Hour Bryce Challenge with a similar theme got me thinking. Second, was the James Cameron movie, The Abyss in which something like this happens to the heroine. And finally, I wanted to do something to elicit a strong emotional reaction. A lot of my art tends to be large and expansive (Metropolis, the CETI Project etc.). I thought it might be nice to invert that and see where it took me. Whether people like it or not, the image tends to make them react. I know I'm a little claustrophobic so I thought that might be a good emotion to work with, and it's the opposite of the broad, wide sky and outer space stuff I've been doing.
One side note: I chose a woman as the subject only because I've been mean to men lately and I need to karmically balance. If you don't know what I mean by this, wait until you see what happens to Captain Bonilla over in the CETI Project... brrrrrr.....
