The Hero of the Proletariat

"So that the Freedom of All does not rest upon the Will of the Few"

-Motto of the Metropolis Public Lending Library

About this image: Bryce 4.0, Poser 4.0, Photoshop 4.0.  A complex image to build, but not *quite* as large as Metropolis 2000. A little harder to plan though due mostly to more complexity in the architecture. The bass-relief work on the library is called "Science hands to Industry" and is the third part of a triptych. The other two pieces (in reverse order), Art hands to Science, and God hands to Art will appear fairly soon, once I have the time to finish that wing of the library.

Someone asked me what the statue meant. I told him and it isn't quite what he thought. If you think you have a guess, send it to me. In about two weeks, I'll post my dissertation on what I was getting at with the figure's despair.
